Operations Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage all operations, HSSEQ, maintenance, asset management, and day-to-day project activities at the terminal in accordance with international standards and company policies.
• Lead various projects, including QRA, HAZOP, and PHA, and ensure safe decommissioning and commissioning of project deliverables.
• Formulate and oversee the operational department’s OPEX budget.
• Update the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and ensure financial performance, risk management, and cost control of the terminals.
• Initiate, review, and agree on annual targets with the team, provide leadership, and motivate staff to enhance performance.
• Supervise training needs, implement required changes, and manage personnel allocation in operational shifts.
• Ensure effective communication and relationship with customers and address complaints promptly.
• Supervise lessons learned from projects and manage the procurement of operating materials.
• Lead the implementation of the Quality Management System and oversee emergency preparedness and mock drills.
• Assist in internal and external audits and act as Deputy of Operations Section Head in the Emergency Management Team.

Operations Manager Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil or Chemical Terminal/Oil Refinery, including 5 years in a management position.
• Knowledge of international standards such as JIG, API, El1530, ISGOTT, NFPA, ASTM.
• Project management experience and strong presentation skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and manage large multicultural teams.
