Position: Food & Beverage Inventory Clerk
The Walt Disney Company is now looking for a Food & Beverage Inventory Clerk to support kitchen operations at Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Florida. About the Role
Disney’s kitchens serve thousands of guests every single day, and inventory must be accurate, fresh, and ready before production starts. As an Inventory Clerk, you’ll make sure every food and beverage location has the right supplies at the right time.
You’ll work closely with chefs, receiving teams, vendors, and leadership to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Count food and beverage products daily (up to 1,000 SKUs)
- Order and maintain inventory levels using Disney’s computer-based systems
- Decide order quantities based on usage, trends, events, and production needs
- Check deliveries, confirm accuracy, and handle any shortages or damaged items
- Reconcile invoices and process payments
- Audit daily inventory transactions in Disney’s financial system
- Monitor purchase orders and follow up on delays
- Track vendor credits and warehouse issues
- Communicate inventory status with Culinary teams and leadership
- Work with internal distribution teams and external delivery vendors
- Handle stock shortages and secure items from other locations when needed
- Complete spoilage records and inter-location transfers
- Follow food safety and quality control standards
- Organize storage areas for efficiency
- Assist with month-end inventory counts
Qualifications You Need
- Valid US Driver’s License
- At least 6 months of experience in F&B, inventory, or supply chain
- Ability to work early morning shifts (2:00 AM–4:00 AM), weekends, and holidays
- Can lift up to 50 lbs and work inside coolers or freezers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to use inventory software and learn new systems
- Good communication skills and teamwork mentality
- Comfortable working independently and handling multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills (Windows environment)
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in inventory or food & beverage roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Supply Chain, or similar fields
- Experience with SAP or G.O.L.D. inventory systems
- Understanding of Disney procurement processes
Education Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
