Event Videographer Job Description
Shootday is seeking talented freelance event videographers in Sydney, Australia to join their global network. As an event videographer, you’ll capture memorable moments at various events and deliver high-quality raw images that tell compelling visual stories.
Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality RAW video content during events (editing handled by Shootday)
- Cover diverse events, such as corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings
- Capture key moments, candid shots, and event ambiance
- Collaborate with other videographers as needed
- Use professional equipment like video stabilizers (gimbals) and high-quality microphones
- Guide participants and set up shots to achieve the best results
- Communicate effectively with clients and the Shootday team
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in event videography with a strong portfolio
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to work in various environments and event types
- Reliable transportation for travel to event locations
- Strong technical skills with videography equipment
- A degree in videography or equivalent experience is preferred
- Own and maintain your professional videography gear
