Job Description:
A dynamic primary school is currently looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant who can provide support to pupils during morning hours. If you’re passionate about education and want to be a part of a nurturing school environment, this role is perfect for you. As a Teaching Assistant, you will help children thrive both academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in group and one-on-one settings, encouraging their learning and development.
- Assist with English, Mathematics, and other curriculum subjects.
- Help with personal care needs, when required, and assist in therapeutic exercises if necessary.
- Aid teachers in lesson preparation, classroom setup, and student progress tracking.
- Foster inclusion and self-esteem in students to create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to assist in all tasks as described.
- Experience working with children, particularly in motivating and supporting their learning.
- Willingness to assist with personal care tasks if required.
- Strong communication skills with teachers, parents, and pupils.
- Enthusiastic and proactive in addressing the individual needs of students.
