Audit Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of internal audit plans, special investigations, and compliance assessments within business and corporate segments.
- Manage and support the audit team, ensuring quality and adherence to department policy and IIA Standards.
- Oversee the timely and effective execution of audits, aligning with approved plans and Internal Audit policies.
- Provide risk-based internal audit plan inputs and analyze control environment effectiveness.
- Identify control gaps and recommend improvements.
- Follow up on audit issues with Segment Management and develop action plans.
- Conduct internal control reviews, business support, and investigations to enhance control environment and process efficiencies.
- Liaise with Segment/Business Unit leadership on internal audit matters and present significant audit issues.
- Audit non-wholly owned entities and coordinate with External and Government auditors.
- Ensure compliance with ENOC’s Quality Management System and IIA guidelines.
- Participate in process digitization and assist in implementing automation solutions to optimize IA services.
Audit Manager Qualifications and Requirements:
- University graduate in accounting/finance with a professional qualification (e.g., CPA/CA/MBA).
- 8-10 years of internal/external auditing experience, preferably in Big Four firms, oil & gas companies, IT, and financial policy development.
- Additional qualifications such as CIA/CISA are advantageous.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and influence senior management to improve business processes.
