Job Description
Concorde Education is currently looking for a Household Science Teacher (Part-Time) to join their team. The successful candidate will plan and facilitate interactive household science learning sessions for elementary and/or middle school students, focusing on developing practical science skills in a fun, engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Meet regularly with the Director of Educational Development
- Plan and lead collaborative science learning sessions
- Assist students in developing household science skills
- Maintain consistent communication with the Director of Educational Development
- Model appropriate academic and social behaviors
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Teaching and/or tutoring experience
- Strong science background with knowledge of various science topics
- Ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan and lead hands-on science experiments
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data to guide instruction
