Forklift Operator Job Description
Rockcote is currently looking for a full-time Forklift / Warehouse Operator to join our Logistics Team at our Yandina location on the Sunshine Coast. You’ll be working a 38-hour week within the operating hours of 5:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining stock accuracy, efficient loading and unloading of goods, and keeping production areas well-supplied.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders
- Load and unload trucks
- Receipt and storage of raw materials
- Ensure raw materials are maintained in production areas
- Use RF scanners to ensure inventory accuracy
- Rotate stock as needed
- Follow safe manual handling practices
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in a busy warehouse environment (highly regarded)
- Valid forklift license (essential)
- Familiarity with 5S housekeeping protocols or similar
- Experience with RF scanners (desirable)
- Ability to manage workloads and prioritize tasks
Forklift Operator Salary & Benefits:
