Warehouse Worker Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manually pick products off shelves to fill orders.
  • Transport in-progress orders to the location of the next item on the order list.
  • Scan products using Radio Frequency (RF) units to determine order information.
  • Fill boxes with packaging materials to avoid order damage.
  • Follow safety procedures to reduce the potential for accidents.
  • Count product quantities to fill orders.
  • Transport picked orders to the packing station for shipping preparation.
  • Build appropriate boxes based on order, weight, and size.
  • Label boxes with barcodes for tracking.
  • Follow packaging procedures for pallets to fill large orders.
  • Monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Review manifests, invoices, and orders for accuracy.
  • Examine products to ensure no damaged products are shipped.
  • Understand and meet quota requirements.

Warehouse Worker Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.
  • Must reside within 50 miles of Roanoke, VA.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.
  • Skills in effective distribution, logic and reasoning, mathematics, and time management.
