Senior Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Planned, direct, and managed international lube sales activities.
  • Develop and formulate an effective international sales strategy for lubricants.
  • Maintain and update sales strategies in line with company objectives.
  • Develop a marketing plan for overall international business.
  • Ensure implementation of marketing activities as per the marketing activity calendar.
  • Oversee market analytics and feasibility studies for new products.
  • Direct and coordinate sales operations to meet planned budgets.
  • Expand business by penetrating new markets and developing distributors.
  • Mentor departmental staff and existing distributors to excel in sales.
  • Develop and implement customer value propositions in international markets.
  • Conduct periodic customer visits to maintain solid relationships.
  • Coordinate and oversee the collection of outstanding debts.
  • Approve new customer accounts following creditworthiness investigations.
  • Represent the department at seminars and exhibitions.
  • Ensure product quality meets customer specifications.
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with relevant entities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent; Engineering background preferred.
  • MBA is an advantage.
  • 15 to 20 years of experience in lubricant sales and marketing, including at least three years of managerial responsibilities.
  • Multi-functional operational management experience.
  • Strong project management and strategic planning skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of business workflows, operations, and regional laws and regulations.
  • Ability to drive organizational culture and climate.
  • Knowledge of financial management.
